An excellent base from which to visit Northumberland and Kielder. Warm, well furnished houses, excellent facilities for families. The owners are friendly and accommodating. We've been visiting regularly for the past few years.
Very well converted former school with a high standard of rooms. Ample space inside and out with shared kitchen and seating areas that are very well equipped. It's worth ordering the breakfast if you're late arriving so you can get up and go out quickly. Kielder reservoir is less than half an hour away and Bellingham is close enough to walk to (around a mile) The was very helpful and gave a quick tour too. If you're biking then there is securish storage in one of the blocks, but still bring locks. It is however VERY quiet round here...

Fantastic, we stayed as a wedding party some in self-catering lodges and some in guest rooms, beautifully fitted out with all you need and the owners still making new improvements. Well worth checking out to stay if in the area
