No one ever enjoys a trip to a hospital, but I had to use A & E recently and all the staff were very courteous and caring. Thank you
I had a procedure today that I was really frightened and nervous about .It was in the day unit. The girls that dealt with me could not have been kinder.I seen a lady called Anne ( I hope I got that right she's been to Mexico ) at my previous assessment. I passed my thought concerns terror on to her she was wonderful . In a kind and funny way not a clinical way. She had the knack of reading me . I thought the way she dealt with me was anaziam, kind ,funny ,sympathetic and just what I needed , like a friend.On the day if the procedure today. She met me at check in and even remembered me I feel so much better seeing her.Once inside gowned up etc. She again was like a friend.Then I went into the theatre. Pam done my procedure. She was just a young lady and so kind and thoughtful in there was also I want to say lily I hope that's right and another lady. To be honest it felt a bit like a prosecco day .It was light hearted, funny, easy , they even got me to relax. I cannot thank themenought.They explained what was going on a way that I understood. Almost like a show lol. The knack of reading how people are ,and how to treat them in s way that you feel amongst friends is indeed a talent.The trust should be so proud of these 4 ladies ,and all the rest of thier staff, but for me today in my opinion and my little embarrassing operation, these 4 were wonderful.I cannot praise them enough.Thanks again I hope you've all gotten over my little nmeltdow.To the management give these girls a big slap on the back and a day off. Thier manner and ability to put a wreck like me at ease is outstanding.Thankyou all
I've probably been in and visited all the hospitals in Northumberland at one time or another. This is far and away the best of them all. I cannot think of one negative thing to say about it. It's spacious and clean, modern and up to date. The receptionists are intelligent and alert and are very pleasant and amenable. All the nurses I've seen have been top class, with wonderful caring skills, and so have the doctors, specialists and surgeons. The toilets are the best you'll find anywhere, and are very clean with all the modern facilities. There's an excellent canteen that has a wide range of snacks, meals and beverages at very reasonable prices with good tables and chairs surrounding it. There always seems to be more than enough space for parking as well.
Excellent care and a big thank you to the day care receptionist, nurses , phlebotomist anaesthetist and consultant. One little thing , it would be really nice if the consultant comes and sees their patient after surgery .
Trouble free experience for my husband getting a new hip today on Ward 3. Staff really need looking after. They were excellent. Their care and support was amazing. Much appreciated.
