Great atmosphere in this dog friendly place, and lovely food as well.

Sunday Lunch excellent!! We ate in bar today. Fire on real cosy very busy!!
We decided to try here for Sunday lunch. We went later in the afternoon at 5pm as we had small children and didn't want to disturb other diners. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a while and there were a few in the bar. There was a very good choice of Sunday lunch and regular bar menu available and a varied children's menu. Staff were pleasant and kept checking everything was ok with our meals, which it was. Portions were a good size, I personally prefer to add my own gravy and should of asked for it on the side but will remember for future as we will definitely be back again and we will bring friends. Keep up the good work.
Amazing food. Just amazing. The first time I ever visited this wonderful place, I got the gammon, pineapple, chips and beans. It was delicious. The next time I got the same and was still amazed. Then, I got the beef and guinness pie. It was perfect. Then I got the fish and chips. I've had many other perfect meals here, but just had to give a few recommendations. It's lovely service, nice toilets. It has a nice beer garden with a park for the kids. My dog adores it. He loves the free water and dog friendly amenities. It even has fluffy blankets to borrow if it gets cold! 5 Stars. Totally worth the small price.
