Well kept tidy park. Lovely on a warm day.
Fantastic in many seasons. Summer holds enjoyable days playing games in the sun, and winter offers one of the best sledging hills in the local area. The park also includes a park for kids and a great bandstand, which hosts events from Carols to Hexham Holiday Club. I wouldn't go here when it gets dark though, can be the location for dodgy teens and other risky figures.
The best fireworks in the north of England
Formal park plus large open space. Football pitch, skateboard park and hidden pathways. A nice place to chill out.
The Sele in Hexham is as beautiful now as it was years ago when I visited as a child.No matter what season it's always a lovely place to visit, and right next to the Abbey, with the famous gaol close by too.
