Had lunch today for my birthday, food was lovely, surroundings relaxing and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Will go back soon. The only down side is that we have dogs & they are only allowed in the garden, a real shame

I do love this place! On the day my first son was born I came here and ended up in a lock in and everyone bought me drinks and toasted the baby. Well, that was over 30 years ago but the place still has the same charm. The food is very good, even if I do miss the old country pub that it was. Strongly recommend.
Very pleasant evening with special friends. Nice atmosphere on a cold frosty Monday evening and friendly staff who looked after our group really well. Food was excellent accompanied by commendable house red and white wines. Will definitely return
Went for a drink, ended up having delicious bar snacks too, Cauliflower fritters with amazing curry Mayo, would love to have a full meal in this delightfully cozy pub. Only on a visit but I will definitely go back. Lovely friendly atmosphere .
