Lovely vibe about this place. Plenty of natural light from the big windows (the end we were in, anyway!) It has a cosy atmosphere as well. A nice selection of ales were on offer and the member of staff who was serving was pleasant and polite.A place I'd call back to
We were a group of 4 in our 50s visiting the area. Tried to have lunch at the Tannery on New Years Eve, unfortunately could not get served at the bar even though it was not too busy. Young barman kept ignoring us and served others. Felt it was more to do with us not being local. Shame as food looked very good that was coming out from the kitchen.
Cracking Sunday lunch, the beef was plentiful and delicious. Staff were great, and the whole atmosphere in the restaurant area was relaxing. I would come again if I lived closer
Amazing experience. Fantastic hand cut chips, incredible peppercorn sauce (made in-house apparently!). Great selection of drinks, good prices. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. Dog & child friendly. Couldn't really ask for much more. Free food on Mondays (quiz night)! Will definitely be back, even though it's a 40 minute drive away from ours
Great pub, the young land lord couldn't have done more for us and other customers. Telling the history of the building as well as serving perfect pints. They have tables with built in scrabble that nearly got me divorced (not my fault I'm better than the wife!) Definitely worth a visit
